TEN is the authorized Nigerian distributor for UMOE Advanced Composites AS (Norway) — manufacturers of Type IV CNG MEGCs (Multi-Element Gas Containers) and related composite cylinder solutions.

UMOE brings 25+ years of composite engineering, with production facilities in Kristiansand (Norway) and Jiaxing (China). Their Type 4 cylinders are the global benchmark:

  • Up to 50% more gas per trip

    Glass fibre is significantly lighter than steel — more gas in the same footprint at higher working pressure (250 bar vs 200 bar typical steel).

  • Zero corrosion risk

    HDPE liner and glass-fibre overwrap eliminate corrosion — critical in Nigeria's humid climate. Lower maintenance, longer design life.

  • Leak-before-burst safety design

    Controlled failure mode built into the cylinder architecture — the preferred safety profile as NMDPRA standards tighten across the sector.

  • Intermodal — transport or stationary

    ISO 668 standard frame. The same unit operates as a mobile tube-trailer carrier or fixed storage at the delivery point.

  • Best-in-class fire performance

    Exceeds international safety standards. Stainless steel SS316 end bosses embedded for structural integrity at the cylinder interface.
